Casting the Bones ~ Folklore & Fairy Tales series

By request this online series is back! And things are going to get a whole lot… darker…

Ever identified with the ‘evil witch’ more than the princess? 😉

Have you wondered why the ‘evil’ characters in the stories we grew up with were so often women? Were you ever curious as to why these characters were the way they were? The traditional way the stories are told is aimed to highlight some kind of moral principle that the protagonist achieves by conflict and juxtaposition of the evil doer… so we are not told WHY that evil doer was in fact, ‘evil’ and we certainly are never encouraged to look at the story from their point of view….

In this series, that’s exactly the landscapes we will travel. Join me in exploring four well known fairy tales from a whole new lens… through narrative, art inquiry, journaling, and spirit journey, we will walk in the world of Fairy and Magic alongside the ‘Evil Ones’… which may be a bit disturbing, and yet perhaps, may surprise you in feeling more aligned than you ever expected.
