The Virtual Art Hive Open Studio is a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 community space for all kinds of people to come together and make art. As a participant, you decide what art you want to work on – bring a project of your own, follow the weekly theme, or create spontaneous art – the choice is yours!An Art Hive Open Studio is a safe space where everyone is welcomed as artists, beginners as well as those with experience. We believe that creating art is inherently human; within the Art Hive Open Studio, each participant just becomes a human creating alongside another human, fostering community and friendships.

The Art Hive Open Studio’s Intentions are:
• To offer the community a respectful space in which all people are recognized as artists in their own right.
• To promote the integration of art in everyday life as a tool for personal and collective fulfillment, and to highlight the mental health benefits of engaging in the creative process.
• To promote knowledge sharing between participants; every member is both teacher and student.
• To promote an appreciation for relational interdependence, where everyone in the community is seen to have valuable skills and resources to share with each other. We believe all humans are inherently wealthy with creative capacity; (i.e. ideas, inspiration, kindness, vulnerabilities, skills, and other resources).

Dark of the Moon ~ MOON TEMPLE – FREE, ONLINE, SELF DIRECTED

As a way of giving back, this online monthly Temple is offered at no costs. It is entirely self directed, and you are welcome to utilize any and all of your contemplative and reflective traditions.

Spirit journeying, meditation, art making, journaling… Only to name a few.

PAST EVENTS:

I have received a request to bring back the Goddess Study.

Therefore, I have reflected and listened and brought forth the Divine Feminine who teach us about living upon the Margins, those who are Exiled and Outcast, and stand upon the Thresholds. For this time in our lives, we have much to learn from Her guidance.

This will be a 4 week course, exploring a different Divine Feminine story each week. You are welcome to sign up for the full 4 weeks, or individually to the dates you can attend.

If you have ever wanted to explore the Divine Feminine, this is for you. If you already have a relationship with the Goddess, yet would like to deepen and broaden that Knowing, this is for you. She speaks to each person differently, and your experiences with Her are valid.

The course will run the 4 Thursdays in May, 2020. Time is being determined this week. It will be offered online Zoom, and will incorporate spontaneous, expressive art making as a way of inquiry and knowing. No art making technique or knowledge required to join. You will be guided and held by myself, a Registered Canadian Art Therapist, as well as the Circle and the Lady Herself.

Investment:
Option 1) Full 4 weeks, $125+gst
Option 2) individual dates, $35+gst each

Online Full Moon ~ Moon Temple Journey Circle – PAUSED

We have come to a new calendar year, and with it, a new cycle of growth from dormancy. As we follow the seasonal shifts, we begin to really understand how everything changes and transitions; nothing is static, nothing stays the same. We are forever moving between times of stillness and rest toward times of movement and growth; and back again.

With these endless cycles in mind, I offer opening the Moon Temple once again – an online, live Journey Circle. On a Tuesday evening close to each Full Moon, we will gather from the comfort of our own homes wherever they may be in the world, together in Circle. Once there, I will guide the Circle in taking a seed from our current seasonal cycle, and journeying into personal spiritual landscapes to further reflection, growth, and spiritual integration.

Together, we will have the opportunity to experience the Personal and the Collective; we will be held and validated in our personal experience, as well as benefit from the collective experience shared by the Circle. We will weave our own story into the larger story of community.

Join the Circles of Spirits around the world, as we seek understanding, connection, and enlightenment. Set aside time and space for your own work, and how that work weaves the healing of the world.

ONLINE Moon Temple Journey Circle Details:

* You are welcome to sign up for one, a couple, or all Circles.

WHERE:
Online on Zoom. I will send you a link after registration.

You will need a stable internet connection, a quiet and uninterrupted space and time, and a device that has a microphone, speakers, and a web camera (as most devices do).
* also recommend – earphones/earbuds to wear during journey, a yoga mat to lay on, a blanket, small pillow, and an eye covering.

COST:
$25+gst per Circle
Any art materials and journals, pens, etc. are optional for each participant to utilize at home.
Payments accepted: Etransfer

WHO:
18+; anyone who is looking for a way to participate in and expand their own spiritual practice, while being held within a Circle of varied faith and spiritual traditions.
No experience necessary; only an open mind, heart and spirit to the experience.

You are invited into the Safe and Sacred Circle ~ held monthly, the Women’s Spiritual Creativity Circle is created for all adult (18+) Spirits who identify as women, of all faiths and spiritual traditions, who wish to have a safe space to explore themselves, their relationships with others, and their relationships to their Spirituality.

Facilitated by Registered Canadian Art Therapist, Nikki Featherstone, the Circles will be Thematic, meaning each Circle will focus on a theme that is relevant to the Women Tribe, and that the themes will build upon each other, Spiraling off material that comes up in the last gathering.
** No art experience or technique knowledge is needed to participate

To eliminate barriers, this Circle will be offered on a sliding-scale fee

** Fee: $10-$25 sliding scale/ per Circle

There are limited spaces, so pre-registration for a spot will be required, a minimum a week ahead of each Circle.

**No commitment to ongoing Circles required – come to the Circles that work for you. AND You will be encouraged to come to as many as you can, as they build on each other and you will get the most out of it if you can come regularly.

~ An Intentional Year of Exploring & Creating Your Path with the Goddess

I will forever hold that each individual Spirit has their own experience and tradition that develops with the Divine – and IT IS VALID.

Walking with Her is a Pathway for each person to find and create this relationship with the Lady, while being supported by a practicing Circle. I have Walked with Her for over 25 years. I will share as much of my knowledge and experience as I can, while holding space for Her to speak and Guide you in your own beautiful relationship.

Intention: Within a Guided Framework, you will find and develop your own tradition of Walking with the Goddess. You will receive assistance and support from your Circle and Circle Guardian (Nikki Featherstone), as we all travel through a year-long immersion into ritual, magic, study, myths, journey, spell craft, ceremony, and more; together.

Commitment: 9 monthly Circles/Gatherings, and 4 Intensives (Friday night & Full Day Saturday, non-accommodation) within the year.

Total of 13 Gatherings – 8 Regular Circles, 1 Community Gathering (decided upon by Circle Members), 4 Immersions

– Locations will vary, however the majority of the monthly Circles will be held at Haven’s Studio in Hay Lakes, and the Immersions will be somewhere within an hour or so driving distance from the Edmonton/Camrose area. Carpooling will be encouraged! 🙂 ** From dialogue with Circle participants, at least one Immersion will be a group journey out to an Alberta Sacred Site, which will entail driving Friday night and staying over – camping, motels, etc. to be decided. This site has been used for ceremony and worship for 4500 years.

Times: *All reg monthly Circles – Saturdays, 3-6 pm
* Immersions: – Friday – 5:30-8:30 pm
– Saturday – 10 am – 5 pm

** This is a working, learning, and practicing Circle, and therefore, each Circle Member is welcome to bring ideas and needs to the Circle for learning and sharing.

** There will be homework between Circles for each member to complete for their own development in tradition and practice. Homework could include researching a tradition that inspires you, and/or a certain Goddess myth that you are drawn to. In addition, to ensure you are not stuck in the theory of your study, homework will include weekly experiential practice of activities that we are learning in Circle, so to develop your skills, comfort levels, and personal spiritual tradition with the Goddess.

** The year immersion will end on a Closing Ceremony that participants will get to create/co-create, so to make it a deep and powerfully personal experience.

This Circle is Sacred, Safe and Free of Judgement. Guided by a professional Art Therapist, Spiritual Seeker, and Practicing Witch for 25 years, this space will be one of curiosity, exploration, and engagement. Although the intention has been focused for those who are new to the Path or seeking a relationship with the Divine Feminine, the Circle is open to anyone who is called to come – if you already have a relationship with Her, this year-long immersion may function as a pathway to deepen and enrich this Sacred Connection.

Investment:
$45 per 3 hour Circles (9) = $405
$150 per Intensive (4) = $600

*A 50% deposit is required to register, with the remaining balance paid over the first 3 Circles.

* Fees include ALL art/writing materials, as well as location rentals, ceremony supplies and facilitation, and professional and therapeutic support during Circles and Intensives.
