Offering the 𝙂𝙤𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙨 Retreat in Autumn is a deep pleasure for me… Especially moving into 𝙊𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙧 and embracing the 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝!

I have sat at my altar, listening to the sounds of the great Shifting as the Wheel moves us toward the Descent… and I have heard clearly the Divine Feminine who hold the Scythe, She who is about cutting away the deadwood so that it can be transmuted and rebirthed; She who is the Great Mirror and reflects back to us in the darkness that which we often attempt to hide – the Shadow; She who holds us to our own Knowing, to our own responsibilities to our Soul and will NOT allow us to look away; She who will scream out the pain of trauma and injustice along with us, while holding us in the depths of compassion we have never known this side of the Veil; She who teaches us about the Wyrd, the crooked path, the creative way forward around, under, and over obstacles; She who would have us Know Things and hear the Voice within the plants, the bark, the wind, and a frog’s song; She who is Wild, and Craft, and Creatrix.

She who teaches us what being a Witch really means.

This is an all-day immersion into the warmth of sitting in Circle with Women, alongside the fire in the Hearth… We will Circle, we will Create Art, we will Journey, we will experience Ritual and Ceremony, we will Connect, and we will Heal. Together. We will be Held by the Sacred land and Intentional energy of the beautiful Riverside Acres Retreat Centre, (40 mins North of Edmonton, near Vimy, Alberta).

The day will incorporate spontaneous, expressive art making as a way of inquiry and knowing and ceremony. No art making technique or knowledge required to join. You will be guided and held by myself, a Registered Canadian Art Therapist, as well as the Circle and the Lady Herself.

*Early Bird $190 +gst until September 15th, 2023!
*Regular $225 +gst.
*Fees includes all art supplies, the retreat space, a light snack, tea and coffee service, and professional facilitation and therapeutic support by Nikki Featherstone, Art Therapist.
*Registration is by payment of fees; payment plans may be available with a non-refundable deposit, please inquire with Nikki around your needs. All fees must be paid by the morning of the retreat day.

Your Retreat Immersion Includes:
– a specific focus around issues and healing that women face (and often have been facing for generations), including Shadow Work and inviting support from the Goddesses of the Descent
– ceremonies to cleanse the space and the energy we each bring in, as well as integration of the work
– art making as a way of communication, and as a pathway of healing
– Shamanic journeys/guided meditations, which are partly guided and partly held by my drum, to bring participants into their inner world/psyche/spiritual plane
– free writing and journalling
– Circles of women, where we understand and can share our common experience as women who walk the world
– professional facilitation and support by a Professional Art Therapist with spiritual integration (meaning I hold a holistic space, and all spiritual traditions are deemed valid and true to each person. All are welcome)
– all art and creating supplies
– tea and coffee service, as well as a light snack. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches, as there is a fridge available. This is an off-grid retreat centre, so lunches that do not require cooking or heating is encouraged
– the sacred space of the retreat centre, which is steeped in intentional sacredness and holds us in a private and supportive energy

About your Retreat Host & Holder:
Nikki Featherstone is an intuitive artist, a lifelong seeker of knowledge, a practicing Witch for 30 years, a writer, and a registered Art Psychotherapist. She loves cats, trees, exploring spiritual pathways, and art in all forms. Within her practice, Haven, Nikki creates holistic, anti-oppressive, intentionally inclusive spaces, where she acts as Guide and Companion while walking alongside her clients. She has been holding retreats for women for over 9 years, art based healing offerings for over 13, and brings deeply compassionate holding, filled with kindness, validation, and radical acceptance. She credits many mentors and teachers over her lifetime for the Wisdom she has received, integrated, and brings forth in her work; these teachers include humans, more-than-humans, and always the Land Herself.
